Dennis L. Smith, Ph.D.
Dennis Smith brings a wealth of consulting, management and
teaching experience to his work at Impromax. His consulting
experience includes
- Team building and organizational development programs at
financial institutions;
- Supervisor training and team building for hospital staff,
managers and physicians;
- Management training for nursing home administrators and
supervisors;
- Workshops on communication, team building and goal
achievement;
- Business development and leadership development seminars.
Dennis also brings real-world management experience to our clients.
He was the Director of Training and Development for a 26,000-
student college, where he was responsible for planning and
implementing career development programs for college executives,
mid-level administrators and support staff. He also delivered team
building seminars, as well as employee evaluation training and
organizational development programs. He served as president of a
12,000-student college campus with an operating budget of 25
million dollars. He also was the Executive Vice President of Academic
and Student Affairs for Ohio’s largest community college, where he
previously had served as Dean of the Business and Technology
division.
Dennis has taught college business courses, including principles of
management and human resource management.
In addition to his Ph.D., Dennis earned an MS in Education degree
from Kent State University, and an MPA degree from the Kent State
University Graduate School of Management.
Dennis is the Senior Account Manager for the Impromax Florida
office.
