Assessment Summaries
Profile XT.  A state-of-the-art “total person” assessment that measures
cognitive skills, personality traits and work interests.  Customizable job
match patterns that enable you to assess job fit for any position make this a
great tool for hiring, promotions and succession planning.  It can also help
pinpoint areas that could benefit from personal development or training
programs.  A foundation assessment that we use for most of our
development programs and coaching, this is a great instrument for helping
people gain accurate insight into themselves and to develop greater self
awareness.

There are a variety of informative reports available.  The Placement Report,
for example, also includes behavioral-based follow-up interview questions,
and the Coaching Report includes suggestions on how to manage the
person more effectively.

Performance Indicator.  This assessment measures five key
dimensions of personality style and relates their effect on seven critically
important aspects of success at work: productivity, attitude towards quality,
initiative, teamwork, problem solving, response to stress and source of
motivation.  The information garnered from this assessment is a great
building block for developing communication skills and improved teamwork.

Step One Survey II.  A pre-hire assessment that measures the work-
related values of integrity, reliability, work ethic and substance abuse, and
provides insights on how they will manifests themselves in the work
environment.  Scores are relative to a normal distribution so you get a good
idea of how a person places relative to the working population.  There is also
a “self-report” section that serves as an initial interview.  Suggested follow-up
interview questions are provided.

Customer Service Profile.  This assessment is not just for customer
service representatives, it is for anyone who affects the level of service an
organization provides to its customers or clients.  It measures relevant
personal characteristics, verbal and numerical proficiencies, plus the
person’s alignment with the organization’s pre-determined service
perspective.  Customizable job match patterns allow you to measure job fit
for any position in your organization.  

Sales Indicator.  Measures core attributes for sales success and uses
them to predict performance in seven sales activity areas: prospecting,
closing, call reluctance, self starting, teamwork, client relationships and
compensation preference.  Customizable job match patterns enable you to
measure job candidates or current sales employees against the factors that
lead to success in your organization.

Team Analysis.  Measures team member strengths in 12 relevant
behavioral areas and provides suggestions to the team leader for more
effective team management .  In team development situations, we use this
assessment in combination with the Performance Indicator to help team
members increase awareness of their own and their teammate’s
characteristics that affect team dynamics, communication and work success.

CheckPoint.  An effective 360-degree feedback system that measures 18
important management competencies within 8 clusters.  Input is gathered
from the assessed manager, plus the manager’s boss, peers and direct
reports.  The clear, graphical report presents results in increasing levels of
detail.  When follow-up Check Point assessments are taken, you can easily
measure improvement with the Comparison Report that includes results
from the current and previous assessments.  When used with the
companion interactive, self-paced
Skill-Builder modules, you can create an
effective, self-contained management development program.

This is one of the key assessments we use in our management/leadership
development programs.  When a management team is assessed, the
separate
Organizational Management Analysis Report compiles the
management team’s Check Point results for a clear picture of “where we are
now” and “what we need to work on” to increase the managers’ effectiveness.
