No one can do strategic planning for you!
If you don't "own the plan," then is just won't happen. That's why at Impromax,
we won't create your strategic plan for you. But we will help you do it right,
beginning with an understanding of the three high-level strategic goals that
correlate most strongly with growth and success. We help you create a
meaningful and usable plan, one that can flow through the entire organization.
Without a clear vision it is virtually impossible to have all areas within an
organization move in the same direction, and without writing it down with
simple clarity it is rare that everyone will have the same understanding of
exactly what it is. Strategic planning unifies the organization around common
goals and increases, often critically, organizational effectiveness. Strategic
planning is, in fact, the process of clarifying and then documenting an
unambiguous vision for the organization, and then laying out the critical goals
for achieving that vision. From those goals all unit and individual objectives can
be developed, assuring that everyone is indeed “going in the right direction.”
Strategic planning is often done as an adjunct to a management development
program, or the basics of strategic planning can be included as a module
